Welcome to being a sniper, unlike the other men stuck on the frontline, you are fortunate enough to have a gun that doesn't require you to get very close to the enemy. But that's no good if you don't know how to make use of it, so here's a little help to get you started.
Sniping Private Guy Sitting
You are a sniper, you have a good bolt-action rifle, that is able to shoot at long ranges, meaning you are safe from soldiers and sentrys bullets, but keep in-mind your still vulnerable.
Basic Guide to be effective at sniping.
- When you spawn in, turn off the safety in your gun, and get a gasmask.
- Secondly, get a shovel and more bullets, 3 boxes of PTSD rifles should be good for 30 minutes in the field. (You can get these in cargo)
- Thirdly, when the battle starts build a trench to either flanks of the middle as these will give you advantages to your sniping point.
Finally to use your sniper you need to aim with it alt-right click, it also can penetrate cover and sentrys armor watch out for other snipers.
You should also aim for the chest, if the bullet you shot through a man penetrates his heart, he should be dead as a jiffy.
